Living Your Magnificent Mission ... the Spiritual process

by Dale Shumaker

In living your magnificent mission we go through a Spiritual process. It involves three areas. First the mission, then the strategy, then the assignment.

It initiates from 2 or 3 coming together in prayer. Keep in mind what Jesus said, when two or three agree for what they ask for in prayer... that the mention of 2 or 3 is figurative. It's a small number... 2, 3, 4, 5, etc.

Living Your Magnificent Mission starts with Mission discovery, refinement, then the personal building process of faith, renewing the mind, and acquiring Spiritual Intelligence or hearing from God. This is the foundation for the 2 or 3 Agreement principle, and how it works. It must be in place first, by each person.

I can't overemphasize the importance of this.  Each person (in agreement with someone) needs to be in faith, renewing their mind via Scriptural formation in their subconscious mind, and in prayer, i.e., hearing from God. When everyone is engaged in this on a regular basis, then the 2 or 3 who come together in agreement works, the intangible becomes tangible, a vision shapes into a reality.

When 2 or 3  build a relationship in Spirit first, which comes through conversation, learning about each other's lives and praying together, unity is established. Faith increases, a bond in love forms and much power is seen through it.

As 2 or 3 connect in prayer, the Spiritual relationship begins to mold together, a love-bond relationship forms in Spirit, which is a Spiritual cell of love and bonding. God begins revealing a mission to this small cell of people.

So as those in 2 or 3 agreement continue to mature in their Spiritual relationship, what is birthed is mission identity, a strategy, specific assignments for those involved.

1. In prayer, a mission is revealed.
2. Back in prayer again, the strategy for the mission comes out of continued prayer.
3. Then, when back into prayer again, the assignment for each one in the small cell is given.
4. The small cell, then supports each other and works as a unit through mission completion. In many cases, this may not come to full completion in one's lifetime, but be an ever ongoing process.

The Scriptures in Hebrews 10 says to not neglect meeting or coming together. Human nature is as such that we tend to get busy with our task and then slack off on meeting. We are to continue to meet or connect in prayer, encourage and spur each other on to the good deeds, acts of love, that the mission inspires us to do.

The point to remember is that everything begins in prayer and continues through directives received through prayer. The prayer experience may be very simple… engaging in a time of Spiritual worship, sharing immediate needs, praying one after another, and then discussing what God is showing each person. It is important to keep plenty of time available for this last part. The goal is to hear from God, and take time to hear what God is saying to you. Then into prayer again, pray over each person's assignment, and that they be empowered by the Spirit.

It all starts in prayer and continues through prayer, carrying out what is put on our hearts, and constantly encouraging and spurring each other on to what God is placing on our hearts to do.

A Magnificent Mission… you got one just for you!

by Dale Shumaker

We all got one, a Magnificent Mission, implanted in our DNA by God himself.

In the Scriptures it says before we are born He knew us (Jeremiah 1) and we are marvelously made (Psalm 139). This includes everyone. Our life is about finding it, refining it, and living it to its fullest... Living Your Magnificent Mission.

It's a simple process to get there, and then to be empowered by His Spirit as we live it. Anyone can do it. The art is in consistency. Doing it consistently and growing from one level to another. As the Scriptures say from Glory to Glory. ( 2 Corinthians 3)

Here's what it takes
It starts with an inspired mission, a vision from God for you; adding faith in seeing it, totally trusting God it will happen; transforming the mind to be compatible with God's mind; hearing His voice, His supreme strategies in getting it done; connecting with someone who agrees whole-heartedly and supports supremely; building covenant relationships that are super-glued in Spirit with each other; bonding with others doing the same which manifests supernatural Gifts of Spirit working in all parts of what you do.

To help guide this process I have explained each step, how to put it to work, with an example (I call scripting your movie) in an ebook/online Spiritually-empowering course. Here it is, the link to the keys that open the door to majestically Living Your Magnificent Mission. http://spiritsavvybiz.blogspot.com/2015/09/living-your-magnificent-mission-online.html

The secret is in the "doing." When you do it, as easy as it really is, it will grow increment by increment. When you do it consistently, than add another person "doing" it alongside you, all the Power of the Spirit is released, just by adding one more.

The power of Spirit works much like molecular structures. They become active and increase in potency when combined in the right way. (e.g., hydrogen, 2 parts, with oxygen, 1 part, both gases, when bonded these gases become matter, water.)  In the Spirit it works the same way. You, plus another, and then others "doing" this create substance. Spirit is what creates matter, and your efforts are manifested, results are seen. In prayer, in love, in faith... which are intangible, produce the tangible.

Unite with someone. Then with others in Spiritual bonding and all the things you read in the Bible, happening in the New Testament will happen for you, for your partner in Spirit, for others "doing the same" connecting with you. As you configure relationships in this way, you become self-initiating, perpetually propelling each other, and unstoppable in advancing your Magnificent Mission.

The vision for what I have called a Spirit Savvy Network, or the Body of Christ united as One and being orchestrated directly by the Holy Spirit, is embellished by Living Your Magnificent Mission.

Living Your Magnificent Mission ... online version with chapter links

by Dale Shumaker

The mission God has set for you is a magnificent one.

Labor Day, 2005, I sat on a porch of a farmhouse overlooking a pond, pasture and forests. There the vision unfolded for the Spirit Savvy Network, the vision that God gives life to live out a magnificent mission.

The ideal:
What if your profession, vocation, business functioned as a hub for The Intricate Power of God's Spirit to work through you. Each day you are on a mission, in a mission field made just for you.

We all have a mission.
We all have something stamped on our DNA, when we are born, we were brought to earth to do. Seeing His mission in our work, vocation is what brings meaning to who we are. God then doesn't leave us alone in it. Our mission brings vision to life, which in most cases is much bigger than who we are. His Spirit then comes into play so we live Super-naturally in fulfilling what He has called us to do.

So my mission, my reason for being is...
to help us craft a vision,
cultivate a mission, and train each of us in the skills of a
Spiritual process that will exceptionally empower us
to accomplish our mission...
to be mission-based in our marketplace vocations.

Living Your Magnificent Mission is an empowering process for advancing the strategic mission you are uniquely made to do.

You dynamically advance the mission God has for you as you master eight steps, building blocks, that you keep in a continuous building motion, maintaining a Spiritual momentum.

As you do these in increasing measure, continually growing and mastering them in your mission, God will accomplish His mission through you... mightily, forcefully, in a special way strategically-formatted just for you.

The building blocks, perpetual process:
Start with your mission (find it, refine it, advance it)
… walk in faith ... reprogram the mind to be one with Spirit ... learn the ways to
acquire Spiritual Intelligence … be empowered through 2 or 3 in agreement
...  cultivate and nurture your agreement relationships ... connect with other
agreement cells ... advance Spiritual gifts
As you perpetually revolve through these principles you continually fuel the fire.

Do these in ever increasing measure. You become unstoppable; you are the conqueror and nothing can stand against you. You learn how to fight in Spirit and win through God's Power for His purposes.

Take a few minutes to skim through the framework of Living Your Magnificent Mission. The links to the chapters are included below.

And it will keep advancing in "ever increasing measure."

Living Your Magnificent Mission
(Organized in sequence, with links.)

A definition:
A Spirit Savvy Network ... what in the world is this
Here the building blocks for the Magnificent Mission process are explained.

How I found my mission.
Some background about me: Finding my mission.
This reveals what influenced me on my mission journey and an example for you as you review your own. Through life we make adjustments to our mission. It seems life is a series of 7-year cycles where we review, reflect and re-adjust accordingly between the cycles.

Why is living your mission so important?
Introduction: Entering your mission.
God has a premeditated plan for each of us.  And when we follow it we are living in His will for us.

Chapters, or lessons, 1 through 5 are foundational  Building Blocks.
Do these in ever increasing measure and do them well.

Revisit what you were born for and refine your Magnificent Mission.
Chapter 1. Your Magnificent Mission.
Has there been something on your mind that you thought about doing, and feel you may have been made for it? What in your life has had the biggest influence in who you are today?

Add faith, your vision that sees it already accomplished.
Chapter 2. With Faith All Things are Possible.
Have you done anything that really took an act of faith on your part?

The mind needs transformed into a Spiritual mind.
Chapter 3. Renew Your Mind.
What part of the Bible or book on a Spiritual theme has had the greatest impact on your life?

Intelligence above natural intelligence is needed to secure strategies beyond our natural abilities. This skill can be developed, and here's how.
Chapter 4. Acquiring Spiritual Intelligence.
Have you ever had a thought, hunch about something,
and it turned out to be absolutely correct  ...even though you didn't have any tangible information to base it on?

No matter what you have or what you face, this principle contains a power unmatched by anything else.
Chapter 5. Two or Three Agreement Principle
Is there a person, that when you work together on a project or activity, you just seem to click well together? Every time you talk to this person you feel recharged, refreshed, get new ideas.

The Core Principle is the 2 or 3 Agreement Principle, Chapter 5. The chapters up to Chapter 5 lay the foundation for the 2 or 3 Agreement Principle to work. Jesus said, "If two of you agree on earth about  anything you ask, God the Father in heaven will do it for you." (Matthew 18:19)

Advancing Your Magnificent Mission.
(Chapters 6 through 8)

Through bonding, relationships become a nucleus of power to accomplish much more or overcome great challenges. By cultivating a strong bond, the 2 or 3 Agreement principle works at Higher Levels. How to build it.
Chapter 6. Cultivating Covenant Connections
Doing this well starts igniting a new Spiritual Power, Love, and effectiveness. You will see faith, renewing your mind, acquiring Spiritual Intelligence build on each other.

Small molecules or cells connected is the backbone for all physics, biology. As you connect with other agreement cells, unlimited strength becomes the by-product.
Chapter 7. Agreement Cells Connecting
As you do this, your Magnificent Mission begins expanding into new territory.

In this Spirit Savvy Network, Supreme Spiritual Gifts emerge with a superior synergy.
Chapter 8. Spiritual Gifts, Spiritual Synergy
The promise of Jesus, "you will do Greater Things," will give birth to miracles becoming self-evident in what you do. The Spirit's Power bigger than you will be constantly at work.

Dale's bio

Do the above in ever increasing measure and Your Magnificent Mission will be fueled by Spiritual Principles perpetually charged-up in your life.

God brings us to earth to do something, and He doesn't  leave us inadequate for the task as Jesus promises:  to "clothe us with Power from on High." (Luke 24:49)  He said He would make us great harvesters,  "They caught such a large number of Fish..." (Luke 5:6)  And He developed other Spirit clothed followers too, "...go and make disciples." (Matt. 28:19) Living Your Magnificent Mission is a direction, a gifting, an ultimate power for living/doing it... His Way.

Be blessed living His Way.

Living Your Magnificent Mission … how to read for best results

by Dale Shumaker

Living Your Magnificent Mission is an empowering process. It is a survival kit in the worst of time. It is a Spirit Power-charger in the best of times. What you are doing as a mission is pushed to a Higher level for living out what God has for you to do and be. Through Spirit we can do all things because the very Spirit of God works through us... the creator of all things.

This is how to live in this power and dynamic of Spirit.

Consider following these guidelines for making the most of the principles and actions recommended in Living Your Magnificent Mission:
...It’s designed for fast reading,
...each chapter is organized to fit different learning and reading styles.

How to read Living Your Magnificent Mission for better results.

1. Skim through all the chapters first.
Use the Bolding feature for a faster read. I put key points in Bold so you can read through everything faster and get the main point. This is a feature technique I use... for both initial preview, emphasis, and later review.

"A Spirit Savvy Network ... What in the world is this"  (an Intro chapter) has an overview of everything.  It is a building block process, as each chapter builds on the other and then they all tie together.

2. At the end of each main chapter I have a Moral of the Story section.
This gives you an overview of the key point of the chapter. For a faster initial overview read, go through each chapter and read this part. When you read the front and end of a chapter,  you can cover a book in minutes and get the main points.

3. The chapters are organized as follows.
In the first part of each chapter, I cover the main principle and reason for it.

Do This. Is a section for putting it to work immediately for those who like to get the point and get going with it.

Consider This. It is for those who would like more information behind the principle laid out in the first part of the chapter.

Scripting the Movie. Some like stories, examples that express a principle. This is for the person who prefers stories. Or who after reading the principle this shows how it might play out.

So read it according to your reading style.

4. Talk to someone about what you read.

I am available for this,
or/and you can find someone you like to go over things with. You may consider a friend who would read it at the same time you do and share as you go.

It's important to say "out loud" to someone what you read, especially those things that jump out at you, or are relevant to you. It helps embed it in the mind while gleaning insight to how it may work for you. We are our own best teachers.

All in all, I am personally available for additional discussion and guidance.

The Scriptures.
I have indicated Scriptures in each chapter. I recommend you read the whole chapter from the Bible, not just a verse here or there.

If you can, look these up and do a fast read of the whole context. That would be good.

So at the first read through peruse the Scriptures cited, come back later and read the whole Bible chapter.  (For the long-term, I recommend you read a Living Your Magnificent Mission chapter a week and read the complete Bible chapter from which a supporting Scripture is taken.)

In the total picture, a good method would be to
1. read over everything (read what's in Bold Type), discuss it,
2. then go back and read one chapter a week, take action on what the chapter says, and share what you did with someone.  (Again, I am available to help you develop a plan that is the best for you.)

By doing as 2 Peter 1 says... in ever increasing measure... our faith and effectiveness grows, strengthens and comes into greater levels of power.

(All sections and chapters to Living Your Magnificent Mission are posted on the Spirit Savvy Business blog starting in October, 2014 and through July, 2015.)
